I've been debating lately what dermatological procedures are good, so I finally decided to try one.

Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt like my skin wasn't what it used to be, so I finally went to the dermatologist to get some treatments lol. Actually, it wasn't a huge problem, but my skin looked dull overall, and even when I wore makeup, I constantly felt like my skin texture wasn't looking smooth. It was actually kind of stressful because my skin tone looked even messier in photos.

At first, I didn't know what to get, so I looked up various options, but I was even more confused because every review recommended something different. So, instead of blindly getting a popular procedure, I decided to go for a consultation first. During the consultation, I mentioned my concerns and they also checked my skin condition, and I realized there were things I had been overlooking more than I had thought.

The procedure itself was better than I expected. Of course, there was a stinging sensation, but it wasn't unbearable, and after it was over, my face was slightly red, so I came straight home. On the day of the procedure, my skin felt sensitive, so I avoided applying various products and focused on using the gentlest products possible.

After a few days, my skin texture felt a bit more refined, and I felt less makeup caking, so personally, I was satisfied. It’s not like my skin suddenly turned dramatically glowing, but it gives the impression that my skin is in better condition. I actually liked that aspect.

Most of all, what I realized this time is that it is more important to choose a procedure that suits my skin condition rather than just following what others recommend. I plan to decide whether to get treatments again after seeing my skin condition. I don't want to get greedy and try to do multiple procedures at once haha.
