My hair just had a fight with my long padding zipper. How do you all manage your hair at night?
What's your usual routine for skin and hair care at home before bed? I just came home from work and was unzipping my long padded jacket at the front door when my hair got incredibly tangled. I had a disaster in the middle of the night. Seriously, it's so dry out here that my hair is as frizzy as dried leaves, making it even more prone to getting tangled in the zipper. It was past 11 p.m., and I was fighting with the zipper for over 10 minutes in front of the bathroom mirror. I was seriously debating whether I should just cut my hair off with scissors or break the zipper. I finally managed to get it out, tears streaming down my face. But then I saw all those precious hair pieces in the sink and it suddenly snapped me out of my mind. I knew I couldn't go on like this, so I came running to ask you all.
It's already winter, so the cold wind outside makes it feel like all the moisture in my body is evaporating when I come inside because of the heater. What kind of home care routine do you, Maypure members, have in mind during these times? I used to just wash my face and apply a large amount of lotion, but after experiencing this disaster today, I've become more determined to take better care of myself. Some of you might use a face pack every day, while others might apply a special oil or ampoule before bed to protect your hair.
I'm just starting to really get into skincare, so I have so many questions. Especially late at night, after a shower and before I dive into bed, do you have any secret tricks that give me that satisfying feeling of, "At least I did everything I could for myself today!"? I have dry skin, so even with a humidifier by my bedside, my nose feels stuffy. Should I apply a thick sleeping pack or use oil moisturizer instead? Or, if you've recently tried a useful item and been blown away, please share it with me. I desperately need practical advice that says, "This one thing will get me through winter," rather than the obvious methods everyone else uses! Please share just one valuable tip so that my recently torn hair doesn't suffer in vain!
