What should I do if my facial skin and elasticity sag along with my face when losing weight rapidly through dieting?
I worked hard on my diet and lost a lot of weight, but every time I look in the mirror, it feels like my face has not only lost weight but is actually sagging downwards. It makes me so upset and stressed. I should be happy about losing weight, but hearing people around me ask why I look so old or if I'm sick makes my heart sink, and I wonder if I should regret dieting. Although I lost weight a bit too quickly, I like that my body looks slimmer, but I never dreamed that my facial elasticity would crumble at the speed of light. In particular, my nasolabial folds have deepened and my cheeks have sunk in, making me look much older and completely devoid of vitality. I heard that when you lose weight too fast, the rate at which the skin contracts can't keep up with the rate at which body fat is lost, causing the skin barrier and elasticity to sag like this.
I want to lose more weight, but seeing my face showing signs of aging, I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.
