Are dermatology procedures significantly affected by the season?
I have been looking up various information recently as I consider getting some skin care. However, while searching, I noticed that many people consider the timing more important than the procedure itself. Some say that skin care is difficult in the summer due to strong UV rays, while others mention that recovery can be slow in the winter because the skin is dry, which made me curious.
I have very little experience with dermatological procedures, so I am not sure if there are actual differences depending on the season. For example, regarding laser treatments or lifting procedures, I am wondering if it is okay to receive them in the summer, or if it would be better to wait until the weather cools down a bit. I am even more concerned because I have heard a lot about the importance of sun protection after the procedure.
I am also curious if satisfaction levels can vary depending on the season, even for the same procedure. I feel that skincare would be difficult in the summer due to increased sweating and strong UV rays, so I would like to know what the reality is. Conversely, I have heard that heating can dry out the skin in the winter, so I am wondering if this factor also affects the treatment results.
I would like to know if those who regularly receive skin care have specific treatments they prefer during certain seasons, or conversely, times they avoid. I am asking this question to get some reference before starting my first treatment. I would love to hear the opinions of those who have experienced this.
