I think my skin barrier broke down about 6 months ago, because no matter what I apply, the inner dryness doesn't go away at all.

Before the procedure, immediately after washing my face, my cheeks and the corners of my mouth were so dry that they felt tight and as if they were about to tear.

My skin surface was rough overall, so the makeup didn't adhere at all.
