I have a habit of clenching my teeth, and since my jaw muscles are well-developed, I was concerned that my facial lines looked a bit angular. In particular, the side of my jaw stood out in photos, so I became interested in jaw Botox and underwent the procedure after a consultation.
The procedure itself didn't take as long as I expected, and while there was a stinging sensation during the injection, it wasn't unbearable. I didn't see any major changes immediately after the procedure, so I went about my daily life as usual for a few days. As time passed, I noticed that the muscles felt less tight than before when I tensed my jaw, and I felt that the force required to chew had decreased slightly.
In terms of appearance, rather than a dramatic drastic change in the face, the jawline simply looked a bit softer. Personally, I felt it was a natural change and wasn't too overwhelming, so I think it would be worthwhile to get a consultation if you have a habit of clenching your teeth.
