Review of finding the light after getting Botox for wrinkles around the eyes and between the eyebrows (The procedure time is really short)
📌 1. Visiting Branch : Maypure Mia Branch
Hello everyone! Haha. How are you all managing the wrinkles that appear when you make facial expressions? I have a habit of frowning unconsciously, and perhaps because of that, at some point, deep lines started forming between my eyebrows in the shape of the Chinese character for "thousand" (天). On top of that, because of the fine lines that appeared around my eyes whenever I smiled, my makeup kept creasing, so I was busy touching up my makeup by the afternoon. It made me so depressed because I felt like I looked older every time I looked in the mirror. No matter how expensive the eye cream I used was, the parts that had already started to sink in just wouldn't recover, so I finally decided to turn to a procedure. I looked for a dermatology clinic near Mia that would be convenient to stop by on my way home from work, and I heard that the director treats only the areas that need attention without unnecessary procedures, so I made an appointment and went there. Haha.
During the consultation, I was told that since I tend to use my facial muscles more than others, getting wrinkle Botox consistently starting now is the quickest way to prevent the wrinkles from deepening later on. The director had me make various facial expressions to carefully analyze how my muscles move. Honestly, since it was my first time getting an injection in my face, I was incredibly nervous about the pain or bruising. However, the director reassured me that I shouldn't worry too much, explaining that wrinkle Botox uses very thin needles and the procedure finishes very quickly.
After applying the numbing cream and waiting for a moment, I went into the treatment room. Just as the director said, the wrinkle Botox procedure was over in the blink of an eye, haha. I felt a stinging sensation a few times around my eyes and between my eyebrows, and then they told me it was all done. It felt like the procedure took less than 3 minutes, so I thought it would be perfectly fine for busy office workers like me to step out during their lunch break to get it done.
Immediately after the procedure, the needle mark was slightly raised, looking like a mosquito bite, but it completely subsided after an hour or two as if it had never been there, so it didn't interfere with my daily life at all. I was told that the effects of wrinkle Botox usually appear gradually after a few days, and sure enough, after about a week, I could feel my skin becoming taut with my fingertips when washing my face. It was amazing that even when I tried to force a frown, deep wrinkles didn't form like before. My eye area has also smoothed out, so makeup no longer creasing when I smile, making me really enjoy looking in the mirror these days. I wonder why I hesitated for so long when I should have gotten it sooner. If you are stressed about expression lines like me, don't hesitate and definitely try wrinkle Botox!
