My skin tends to get red easily and break out, so I've tried various soothing creams, but for me, nothing compares to La Roche-Posay when it comes to acne products. Especially the Cicaplast Multi-Repair Cream.
The texture is a slightly heavy cream type, so I was worried it might feel stuffy at first, but when actually applied, it adhered smoothly to the skin like a thin protective layer. Rather than feeling excessively oily or shiny, it felt more like it enveloped dry areas and kept them feeling comfortable. When used after cleansing when my skin was irritated, it felt soothing without any stinging, and when applied thickly at night like a sleeping mask, I noticed my skin texture felt much more refined the next day. I particularly liked that it reduced dryness and tightness. However, since it isn't exactly lightweight, it's best to adjust the amount used if you have oily skin or during the peak of summer. It is better suited for intensive evening care rather than daily use. That is why I haven't been using it much lately when it's hot. But aside from summer, it is a really great product to use!
