I always use aloe products during the dry change of seasons. I like that it cools down the skin after cleansing and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. It is oil-free, so it doesn't feel like it clogs pores, and I like that it doesn't cause the tightness often associated with lack of moisture.
I used to apply this whenever my skin felt a bit dry in the summer, and the absorption is incredible. However, since it can be drying if I only use this, I sometimes apply a slightly different cream on top! I really felt the soothing effect when I applied a generous amount of aloe gel to areas with small pimples and placed a cotton pad soaked in cool water on top; afterwards, I could visibly see that my skin was more hydrated and calmed.
I used it all over my body—on reddened arms, legs, neck, and back after a shower—and it feels cool and moisturizing. Storing it in the refrigerator doubles the cooling sensation, making it even better for soothing. Since it is fragrance-free, I used it freely without any hesitation.
