Skin that has become rough from the cold wind... For those of you with sensitive skin like me, how do you manage your skin texture?
How does everyone manage to deal with flaky, white skin in the middle of winter like this? I just went out wearing a coat and almost froze to death. Looking in the mirror after coming back home is just dumbfounding. Why was I so foolish to wear a coat instead of a puffer jacket, only to bring this suffering upon myself? It’s not just my legs and arms that are freezing; my face got hit directly by the biting wind, and my skin condition has hit rock bottom. Seeing the white flakes around my mouth and chin, I know my makeup won't go on at all tomorrow, so I feel so depressed and desperate. My skin is so thin and sensitive that I absolutely cannot even dream of using scrubs like everyone else. I’ve been extremely careful ever since I used a scrub with granules incorrectly once and suffered for days with my entire face turning red. So, on days like today when my skin is severely irritated, I try to pay close attention to the cleansing step to melt away the irritation with oil-based products. Do you all have any special, low-irritation "holy grail" products that you use only in the winter? I just washed up and looked in the mirror; my skin is severely dry on the inside and rough on the surface, so I’m afraid to even touch it. It's so late and I can't sleep, so I keep standing in front of my vanity wondering what to do. Please share some secrets to keep even sensitive skin smooth and safe. I want to try this starting tomorrow, so please share how everyone else manages their skin!
