I slept with the window slightly open yesterday, and my face feels like it's going to tear.
The air in my room felt a bit stuffy last night, so I left the window slightly ajar, just about two finger widths, to air it out before going to sleep. It was cool, so I slept well, but when I woke up in the morning, my face felt like it was going to crack from the cold wind I'd been exposed to all night, and I was flushed intensely. I was shocked because even lukewarm water stung a little when I washed my face. In a pinch, I soaked a cotton pad with toner and placed it on my cheeks to lower my skin temperature, then applied a thick, ointment-like moisturizing cream that I don't usually use. Since the night air is still quite chilly, everyone, please make sure to close your windows when you sleep. I let my guard down and almost completely ruined my skin barrier.
