My personalized skincare routine for each body part to beat the dry spring winds
Perhaps because it has been so windy lately, my forehead and nose have been producing sebum, while my cheeks have become so dry they feel like they're about to crack—a typical case of dehydrated oily skin. Applying the same cream to my entire face caused breakouts in my T-zone and tightness in my U-zone, so I completely changed my routine. After cleansing, I apply a thin layer of a watery hydrating essence all over my face. Then, I apply just a thin layer of a very light gel-type hydrating cream to my forehead and nose, where sebum production is high. Conversely, I generously apply a thick ceramide cream to my cheeks and chin, where dryness is severe. It is a bit of a hassle to apply, but using different textures for each area definitely balances my oil and moisture levels perfectly, keeping my skin comfortable all day long. If you have combination skin, you should definitely try this method!
