My personal skincare routine for the dry changing seasons!
Is this weather for real... I'm not the only one whose skin is cracking and breaking out, right? ㅠㅠ I decided I couldn't go on like this anymore, so I completely revamped my skincare routine and settled on this one. I thought I'd just quietly share it in case it might be helpful to anyone.
I started with a 'basic skincare diet' first! I found that applying a lot of different products isn't necessarily good. Instead, after washing my face and before drying it, I immediately open up my skin's moisture pathways with a water toner. Patting it in with my palms to help with absorption seems to be the best way to tackle inner dryness.
And my current favorite is the soothing pad pack. I just place them on my cheeks and forehead for 5 minutes after washing my face, and I can see the redness instantly go down, so I just can't stop using them. Haha.
My final tip is... of course, a humidifier. Haha. Just maintaining the humidity while you sleep makes your skin feel soft and smooth when you wake up in the morning. Let's all get through this change of season safely! If you have any questions, please leave a comment! :)
