✔️Review of Pico Toning Treatment, Great for Skin Tone Improvement
hello~!
Today, I’d like to share a review of the Pico Toning treatment I personally received.
I think this will be helpful for those of you who are worried about your skin tone or blemishes.
My skin tone was originally on the duller side overall, and
I was always stressed, especially because I had freckles and blemishes popping up here and there.
Makeup can cover it to some extent, but since it doesn't provide fundamental improvement,
I wanted to make my skin naturally clearer.
I got a Pico Toning treatment two years ago haha!!
Pico toning is a method that breaks down pigments into finer particles than a standard laser.
I chose this because I heard it is relatively gentle on the skin while being effective for improving skin tone.
On the day of the procedure, arrive at the hospital and cleanse first.
I applied numbing cream all over my face and waited for about 20 to 30 minutes.
(It's been a long time since I've had a procedure, so I was so nervous....ㅠㅠㅠ....)
Then I went into the treatment room and received the Pico Toning treatment.
The procedure didn't take as long as I expected; it finished pretty quickly, in about 10 to 15 minutes.
You can expect the total time to be approximately 40 to 50 minutes!
It wasn't completely pain-free, but it was way better than I had worried it would be.
It feels like my skin is being pricked with a rubber band over and over again.
It was just a stinging sensation, so I could bear it.
Personally, I found it much less burdensome than other strong laser treatments.
My face turned slightly red right after the procedure, but that subsided quickly after a few hours.
I was surprised by how fast it recovered the next day—it was almost unnoticeable haha.
So I felt like it was a procedure with almost no downtime.
The fact that I could immediately go back to my daily life was really, really convenient!!
As for the effect, I felt like my skin had become slightly clearer after just one session.
After about three sessions, surprisingly, I could feel my skin tone gradually becoming more even.
Especially after receiving it more than 5 times, I could see the blemishes gradually fading.
I was very satisfied because my skin felt clear overall.
This procedure improves gradually the more consistently you receive it, rather than showing dramatic results all at once.
I realized I should approach it with the mindset of long-term care rather than seeing quick results lol
(I signed up for 10 sessions... so if you want to see noticeable results, go ahead and sign up for 10... haha)
The price for the 10 sessions I did was 670,000 won, but they were having a promotion on it.
I got it for almost half the price? I thought it was a good deal in terms of cost.. (A whopping 50% discount lol)
I usually went for the procedure every 1 to 2 weeks.
The recommended number of sessions is at least 5, and for proper results, I recommend 10 or more.. haha
(Starting from the 10th session, I looked in the mirror and thought, "Oh? It's starting to show a noticeable effect?")
The duration varies from person to person, but it seems like the more consistently you receive treatments, the longer the lasting effect lasts!
I think the biggest advantage of the Pico Toning procedure is that you can start it without any pressure.
It feels like it improves skin tone, blemishes, and texture overall without being too irritating.
I understand why it's so highly recommended as an introductory treatment for skincare.
I didn't experience any particular side effects, but the counselor mentioned temporary redness or
I was told that dryness might occur, and those with sensitive skin might experience breakouts.
Especially since I heard that if you don't properly manage UV rays after the procedure, melasma can actually worsen.
I really tried to avoid the sun as much as possible, and whenever I went out, I slathered on tons of sunscreen and used a parasol.
As a precaution, it is important to moisturize sufficiently after the procedure.
UV protection was really essential haha...
And it is best to avoid drinking alcohol or saunas for about a week.
I was advised not to exfoliate for the time being.
Pico Toning treatment is especially suitable for those with a dull skin tone like me, or
It is a procedure well-suited for those concerned about melasma and blemishes.
I think I can recommend this even to those who find strong lasers overwhelming~~ haha
