Is the skin booster really effective?

My skin has been so dry and rough lately, so I'm looking into skin boosters.
I've heard a lot of people around me saying their skin improved after getting skin boosters, so I'm curious if they really feel a big difference.
I'm tempted because I heard skin boosters give a dewy glow, but I'd also like to know how long the effect lasts.
I'm worried that getting hit for no reason might not have much effect.
