Will a skin booster be effective for melasma?

I've been stressed about my melasma lately, so while looking into various things, I even became interested in melasma skin boosters.
I know that melasma is usually managed with laser toning, but I've heard a lot of people say it's good to use a melasma skin booster as well, so I'm considering it.
I heard that melasma skin boosters help reduce melasma by improving skin condition from deep within. I'm curious if you can actually feel the difference.
I've heard that once melasma appears, it doesn't go away easily, so it's a long-term battle. I'd like to know if using a melasma skin booster in conjunction with other treatments makes a definite difference.
