I am stressed because of the freckles and blemishes on my face.

How is everyone taking care of their skin during the changing seasons? ㅠㅠ Lately, I just sigh deeply every time I look in the vanity mirror. I used to get quite a few compliments on my skin even when I went out without makeup, but at some point, light brown spots started appearing one by one under my eyes and around my cheekbones.

 

At first, I thought it was just a small, light spot, but as time goes by, it keeps getting bigger and darker, so it definitely looks like melasma or blemishes. Even slathering on concealer doesn't cover it up completely, so meeting people in bright places is incredibly stressful these days haha. It seems like there are clear limits to what I can do with cosmetics or home care, so I think I really need to start actively seeking help from a dermatologist now.

 

I've heard that you usually need to get laser toning treatments consistently to get rid of these stubborn freckles and blemishes. I've heard that one or two sessions just aren't enough and you absolutely need to expect at least 10. Is that really true? It's a hassle to take time out of my busy schedule to go back and forth to the clinic, so I'm wondering what the most efficient and effective way to schedule treatments is. Do I have to go strictly once a week, or is it okay to go every month to give my skin a break?

Also, I've heard that to get rid of melasma and blemishes caused by melanin, combining laser treatment with other procedures or skincare creates much better synergy than using laser alone. So, if anyone has seen great results, please share your tips. I'm really determined this fall to go to Maypure and completely eradicate these spots. Please cheer me on!
