I'm curious about the effectiveness of acne treatments.

Even now that I am an adult, I still have some acne.
It’s just like tiny pimples, so it might bother sensitive people, but I’m generally insensitive, so I’ve managed to get by until now.
I'm not sure if it's right to get a diagnosis now for the effectiveness of the acne treatment.
I'm not sure if I'll see any effect from the acne treatment, considering I'm spending time and money that I don't really need to.
I certainly get envious sometimes when I see clear skin, but I also wonder if I could really achieve that even with treatment.
Since elementary school, I have lived thinking that I don't have skin on my face.
