After finishing a big cleaning, I looked in the mirror and was suddenly shocked by the condition of my skin.
The weather was so clear and sunny today that I mustered up the courage to open all the windows and do a deep cleaning. As I shook off the dust that had accumulated throughout the winter, seeing the dust swirling in the sunlight gave me a strange feeling. After spending a long time wiping and cleaning, covered in dust, I finally finished a refreshing shower, but I was truly shocked when I looked in the mirror. My skin felt dry and rough unlike before, and under the light, I couldn't help but wonder why the texture around my eyes and mouth seemed so different. Usually, I just casually applied toner and left it at that, but today, I became particularly curious about my skin age, and the reality of anti-aging really hit me. To be honest, I haven't properly documented my face until now, using busyness as an excuse, but starting today, I think I'll try taking photos to meticulously record its condition. I'm sure the changes will be noticeable when compared to my past records, right? I wish I could wipe away my loss of elasticity just like I wipe away dust in the house. How do others start their skincare routine in situations like this? It was a day when I resolved to check my daily condition more systematically and think about age-appropriate care.
