My current home care item: cleanser

The foundation of skincare is cleansing.

On days like these with severe fine dust, there is especially a lot of dust that clogs pores, so I pay extra attention to cleansing. That is why the home care item I use that I’m recommending today is a mildly acidic cleanser.

The product is Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel

It is a hypoallergenic, slightly acidic product, and I liked that it causes less skin irritation because it cleanses thoroughly on its own even when I only wear sunscreen. I also like that when I double cleanse, it feels like the oil is removed even more cleanly than the first wash.

This is my first time using a gel-type cleanser, and even after washing my face, my skin didn't feel tight and the texture was soft.

If I had to point out one downside, it's that it doesn't lather as well as regular foam cleansers haha. So, first-time users might wonder, "Huh? How much more do I have to pump to get as much foam as the old products?" But still, among mildly acidic products, I think it lathers quite well.

If you are concerned about the foam, using a foam maker is also a good option :)
