My under-eyes kept looking sunken, so I tried changing my sleep habits first.

I was bothered by how the area under my eyes looked sunken every time I looked in the mirror. It felt more like shadows than actual dark circles, and although I tried using eye cream and massaging, nothing really changed.

Then I heard that my sleeping position might be the problem. I was told that the habit of sleeping on my stomach or side puts pressure on one side of the face, preventing the swelling from going down and making it look sunken. Skeptical, I tried switching to sleeping on my back, but it was uncomfortable at first, so I kept turning over in the middle of the night. So, I resorted to putting a cushion next to me to prevent myself from turning over. Haha.

After about two weeks, I definitely felt like there was less puffiness under my eyes when I woke up in the morning. They also seemed to look less sunken than before. It felt a bit anticlimactic that changing my sleeping position was the priority rather than changing my eye cream, haha, but if you have similar concerns, give it a try.
