It's already mid-April! I wonder why time flies so fast; it feels like my skin's elasticity is disappearing just as quickly. Haha. As a working mom, I really have nowhere to go for skincare every morning because I'm busy taking care of the kids and getting ready for work. Still, I couldn't miss out on this transitional season, so I'm sharing the routine I've been following lately.
The first is 'sufficient hydration.' It might sound cliché, but starting in your 30s, I've found that you really need to hydrate from deep within to make your complexion look clear. Since I find it hard to drink plain water, I try to drink about 1.5 liters a day, mainly caffeine-free teas. And the second is making sure to apply a 'sleeping pack' before bed! For women like me who find the time spent putting on and taking off a face mask too precious to waste, sleeping packs—where you just apply it and go to sleep—are a lifesaver. Haha.
When I wake up in the morning and see that my skin is less dry and my makeup applies flawlessly, I really think, "Skincare never betrays you." Honestly, at our age, healthy-looking skin is the best, isn't it? It doesn't have to be anything grand; why not start by making small changes to your habits?
