It feels like an unusually large amount of oil is coming to the surface.

Examining my skin today, I felt that an unusually large amount of oil was rising to the surface. Even though I washed my face and applied light basic skincare in the morning, my forehead and the area around my nose started to shine by lunchtime. I was concerned because it seemed like sebum production was more active than usual. I couldn't pinpoint the exact reason—whether it was due to the weather or my recent diet—but my skin condition felt different from usual. In particular, perhaps because I had been wearing a mask for a long time, my pores felt clogged, and although I knew that constantly touching my skin with my hands was a bad habit, I found it difficult to break.
As the afternoon progressed, more oil rose to the surface, and I noticed my makeup starting to break down slightly. Although I lightly blotted it with oil-absorbing paper, I felt that a more fundamental solution was needed. Today, I plan to pay a little more attention to cleansing and moisturizing, and focus on using gentle products. It was a day that made me realize the importance of not ignoring the signals my skin sends, but instead consistently recording them and observing the changes.
