My Personal Skincare Method: Gentle Care That Clears Up Milia
It's already mid-April! I wonder why time flies so fast; it feels like my skin elasticity is disappearing just as quickly. Haha. It used to be really stressful for me because tiny pimples would pop up around my mouth whenever I was stressed or during my period. ㅠㅠ Skin in your 30s recovers more slowly, so once breakouts occur, the scars tend to last a long time. So, I’d like to share my own skincare routine that I found after countless trials and errors.
When your skin breaks out, 'minimalism' is definitely the answer! When I get small bumps, I stop using all functional cosmetics and apply a mild pad containing Cica for five minutes. Also, one of my key personal skincare routines is never scrubbing hard when washing my face, but instead gently rolling a foaming cleanser over my skin. I've found that minimizing irritation gives the skin barrier the strength to heal itself.
And don't forget to drink a glass of water before bed! I've found that keeping your skin hydrated helps the breakouts calm down faster.
