The moment your hand touches your face, breakouts are guaranteed!

I realized I have a habit of unconsciously resting my chin on my hand or touching my nose. I had been worried lately because I kept getting breakouts only around my chin, but after thinking about it carefully, I realized my hands were the problem.

There are so many germs on our hands, you know. Since we touch our faces with those hands, it’s no wonder our skin suffers. That’s why I’m consciously trying not to touch my face these days. Even if it itches, I don’t scratch with my fingernails; instead, I use a clean cotton swab or spray a facial mist. It may seem trivial, but it is the hardest bad habit to break. Do you happen to have one of these too?

In addition, you know that the smartphone screens we touch every day are teeming with germs, right? If it touches your cheek while you're on a call, it can cause skin irritation. I've made it a habit to wipe my phone with an alcohol swab whenever I remember, and I've found it quite effective. Maintaining hygiene for your hands and belongings is the first step to healthy skin.
