I usually stick to mildly acidic cleansers to protect my skin barrier, but on days like these with severe yellow dust or fine particulate matter, I find their cleansing power lacking. So, on days when I've been out for a long time, I use an alkaline foam cleanser that produces rich, dense lather to thoroughly cleanse deep into my pores. Instead, I balance this out by applying double the amount of moisturizer immediately after washing my face. I think it's a good idea to switch cleansers according to the weather.
