Is washing my face with just water in the morning enough, or should I use a foam cleanser?
When I wake up, I notice a slight oiliness on my face, and I always wonder if it is okay to just wash it off with water. I saw posts saying that washing with water in the morning is good for protecting the skin barrier, but on the other hand, others say you must use a cleanser to wash away the dust and impurities that accumulated overnight. I suppose the answer depends on individual skin types.
My skin is somewhat combination type; my T-zone is oily while my cheeks are dry. Which method would be more appropriate? Lately, I've noticed small pimples popping up one by one, so I'm worried that my cleansing habits might be wrong. If you have similar skin concerns, please share your morning cleansing routine. I would like to take your opinions into account to adjust my cleansing method.
