My skin condition these days... ㅠㅠ Is a morning water-only face wash habit okay for oily skin?

While reading community posts, I saw many comments saying that washing my face with just water in the morning instead of using cleansing foam is good for the skin. Since I have oily skin, my T-zone tends to get quite greasy when I wake up, so I was a bit worried whether washing with just water would actually be sufficient. I was also concerned that impurities might not be properly removed, potentially leading to more breakouts. I would appreciate your opinions on whether anyone with oily or combination skin has seen results after switching to washing with just water, or if it would still be better to use at least a mild, pH-balanced cleanser.

My friend has dry skin and raved about how her redness subsided significantly after she started washing her face with just water, so I am trying to muster up the courage to give it a try as well. However, when I look in the mirror every morning, I hesitate to actually do it because I worry that the slippery feeling will remain if I only wash with water due to the oiliness around my nose. If I do wash my face with water, I am wondering if I need to rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water many times, or if using a specific towel would be helpful.     저도 지성이라 물세안만 하면 오히려 유분 남아서 트러블 올라오길래 아침엔 순한 약산성 클렌저로 가볍게만 씻는 게 훨씬 낫더라고요
