Mist vs. Moisturizing Cream, which is better?

Lately, my skin has felt really dry and rough.

Until now, I've only applied lotion occasionally,

It's also hard to keep applying it in between... ㅠㅠ

A mist to spray in between, or applying moisturizer in between...

Between the two, which one should I do and how should I do it so that my skin can at least maintain some moisture? ㅠㅠ
