Pro tips for skin care during the changing seasons: When your skin itches~
Is anyone else feeling just itchy skin these days?
I haven't eaten anything I'm particularly allergic to, and I don't have pollen allergies, but my face has been unusually itchy this week. Whether it's due to my hormones or my condition, for some days every month, my skin itches over a wide area for no apparent reason.
I will introduce the method and product I use in situations like this.
When your skin itches, your hand instinctively reaches for it like a spinal reflex. Simply scratching provides relief for 0.1 seconds, but instead of scratching, 'apply' some chilled aloe vera gel. The key point here is not to spread it, but to apply a thick layer directly to the itchy area. Alternatively, you can soothe the itching by placing a chilled face mask on your face. Doing this will keep you itch-free for at least 30 minutes, even in extreme cases. Since that lasts longer than 0.1 seconds, please make sure not to scratch and cool the area down.
Then, apply a thin layer of Physiogel Red Soothing AI Repair Cream.
As those of you familiar with this product know, it has a dense, rich texture, so if you apply it generously like a regular cream, the chances of breakouts skyrocket. Although it has a thick consistency, it spreads smoothly once applied to the skin, so there is no need to worry about application. Immediately after application, it appears slightly glossy and feels like it is sitting on the surface, but it absorbs quickly.
They say the slightly firm texture left on the skin acts as a protective barrier to prevent itching, so if you are someone who gets stressed out by itchy skin during the changing seasons, give it a try.
Personally, I think it goes better with a night care routine :)
