Is it appropriate to use oil in this weather?

It feels like my skin is out of its mind because it's hot during the day and chilly at night. If I only apply moisturizer, it dries out quickly, but if I mix it with oil, I'm worried about breakouts.

I'm curious how everyone wraps up the basics at this time of year!
