Criteria for choosing sunscreen learned while managing freckles and blemishes
While getting Pico Toning, I’ve come to realize just how important sunscreen is. I learned through the process that UV protection is essential to see the proper effects of the treatment.
As a result, I developed criteria for choosing sunscreen. First, it must have SPF 50+ PA+++ or higher. It shouldn't leave a white cast so that applying it every day isn't a hassle. And it must have mild ingredients that aren't irritating, even when I need a diaper care. These three things have become my standards.
I found it surprisingly difficult to find a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast. The advertisements all claim they don't, but when I actually applied them, some left my face looking unnaturally white. That concern was resolved after I switched to a chemical sunscreen. For those worried about freckles and blemishes, it is really important to combine treatments with proper sunscreen care.
