Our office has floor-to-ceiling windows, so it gets incredibly hot when the sun comes in during the afternoon. The blinds aren't blackout blinds, either. Anyway, that's why my face turns bright red every afternoon.
I can feel a burning sensation on my skin to the point where everyone around me is worried.
I heard that increased skin temperature leads to more sebum production. Since I have skin prone to small bumps, I really struggled last year. Of course, I still have them now. So these days, to minimize sebum secretion, I apply an extra cooling moisturizer in the afternoon to soothe the heat sensation and focus on hydration.
Even if you don't get a fever like me, I've heard that reapplying a moisturizer in the afternoon keeps your skin from drying out and is good for preventing wrinkles. I recommend you all give it a try!
