What is good for when my skin looks dry and dull? Please recommend some home care items you are currently using.

On my way home from work today, I glanced at the elevator mirror without thinking, and I was shocked to see my face reflected under the bright fluorescent lights looking much more tired and rough than usual. Fine lines around my eyes were starting to stand out, and my skin tone had dulled; it really hit me that I’m not the same as I used to be. I had doubts when I saw the pillow marks from the morning not disappear by lunchtime, but looking in the mirror today, I felt a sense of urgency that I couldn't neglect this any longer. In the past, simply applying a generous amount of an inexpensive moisturizer before bed was enough to make my skin feel firm by the next morning, but now, such modest efforts feel completely insufficient.
