It seems like having too much home care isn't the answer.
In the past, I used to think that if my skin was bad, I absolutely had to do something extra.
I used a hydrating mask, applied an ampoule, slathered on a thick layer of cream, and even brought out all my soothing products lol. But I think that actually made my skin more tired. These days, if my skin feels a bit sensitive, I really just stick to the bare essentials.
After cleansing, a light toner, just one cream, and that's it. I was worried at first, but I actually found that my skin felt better the next day on days like this.
Of course, it varies from person to person, but for me, the worse my skin was, the more I messed with it in the name of 'care.'
I think there is a limit to how much my skin can handle, even with home care. I'm curious if everyone tends to cut back on products when their skin breaks out, or if they go all out with soothing items haha. Please share your experiences!
