[Sharing My Experience with Recent Dermatology Procedures] A Genuine Review of the Aqua Peel + LDM Waterdrop Lifting Combination
Hello everyone! The weather has been really unpredictable lately, hasn't it? It suddenly gets dry, then gets hot during the day... It seems like the skin is the first to react in times like these. Even skin that is usually healthy always seems to cause trouble around this time of year. A few days ago, my skin was so rough and my makeup was caking so much that I decided I couldn't stand it anymore and visited Maypure. Haha. Usually, I try to manage with home care—trying face masks and slathering on plenty of moisturizer—but when dead skin cells build up and the inner dryness is severe like this, a professional's touch is definitely the best.
This time, I received the combination of Aqua Peel and LDM Waterdrop Lifting! Isn't this seriously the undisputed go-to combination for the changing seasons? Haha. The Aqua Peel thoroughly cleanses away old dead skin cells and impurities deep within the pores, and then the LDM fills those empty spaces with moisture, creating an incredible synergy. You all know that refreshing feeling of your pores being cleaned during an Aqua Peel, right? There is a certain satisfaction in watching the sebum being pulled out, so I feel really uncomfortable if I don't get it done regularly. In particular, since I can see the butterfly zone around my nose becoming smooth right in the mirror, I absolutely cannot stop doing it.
And every time I get LDM, I feel it, but I love it so much because there is absolutely no irritation. My skin is a bit thin and sensitive, so I often find things like lasers burdensome. But with this, they just apply a warm gel and gently massage it in, so I get so sleepy that I've actually almost snored once. When I look in the mirror in the powder room after the procedure, my skin really glows. It’s not just a shiny oily shine on the surface; it feels more like a dewy glow, as if my skin is plump and full of moisture from deep within.
Before going to the dermatologist, I tried using exfoliating pads and scrubs at home, but they only damaged my skin barrier, causing redness and stinging. Aqua Peel, which dissolves and absorbs dead skin cells without irritation, definitely seems to be the answer for sensitive skin. Furthermore, perhaps because LDM has skin regeneration effects, I feel like the red marks from breakouts are fading much faster.
The director examined my skin condition thoroughly and kindly advised me to stop using all functional cosmetics for the time being and focus entirely on hydration and soothing. So these days, even though I only use two products—toner and moisturizer—I don't feel any dryness at all, thanks to the LDM treatment I received. The texture of my skin feels different to the touch when I wash my face the next morning, and the adherence is insane when I pat on cushion foundation lol. I guess this is why everyone says to save up money to go to a dermatologist.
If you're like me and your makeup is flaking and your skin is severely dry from within lately, you definitely have to try this combination!! If anyone knows of other good combinations, please share your recommendations~ I want to try everything too haha. When your skin breaks out during the change of seasons, don't just struggle at home applying this and that; try visiting a dermatologist. Seriously, your quality of life changes every morning haha. Everyone, drink plenty of water today and let's do our best with skincare~
