Lifestyle habits are really important in skincare.

For skincare, I think small actions repeated every day, such as washing your face and not touching it, quietly yet surely change your skin condition.

For example, in the past, I didn't mind scrubbing my face vigorously with a towel immediately after washing it. I felt uncomfortable if any moisture remained, so I believed I always had to dry it thoroughly. However, at some point, my face strangely started getting redder only after washing, and the tight, dry sensation intensified. It was then that I realized it might be due to the daily friction I was applying to my skin. So, instead of rubbing with a towel, I switched to simply patting my face a few times with my hands and gently patting it, and I could feel the tightness decrease significantly.

It was the same with hydration. I was sick and tired of hearing that I should drink plenty of water, but on busy days, there were many times when I didn't even take a sip until lunchtime. Strangely enough, on those days, my skin felt duller and my makeup seemed to cake more. Once I consciously kept a water bottle by my desk and started drinking even just a little bit whenever I had a spare moment, at some point, I began hearing people say my skin looked good.
