My personal skincare tips for the changing seasons
The weather has suddenly gotten much hotter lately, causing my sebum production to explode and my skin to become extremely sensitive. Since I wash my face with just water in the morning and apply a hydrating ampoule thinly several times, my inner dryness is less severe and my skin feels moisturized.
Never rub off dead skin cells; I recommend mixing coconut oil with your moisturizer before bed. It forms a moisturizing barrier without irritation, so your makeup applies well the next day.
As the sunlight has gotten stronger, sunscreen is essential before going out, and wearing a hat is also a must.
Since I have dry skin, I find that lightly reapplying moisturizer after washing my hands is much more effective for reducing heat and preventing moisture loss than spraying a mist in between, so I carry a small moisturizer with me these days.
And as an important tip, I wash my pillowcase every week, and since it helps reduce skin trouble, I've been practicing this frequently lately.
