Skincare routine, morning cleansing, water vs. foam cleanser? I'm curious about your morning routine!

Maybe it's because the weather is dry these days, but when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels really tight. I read somewhere that it's best for dry skin to just wash with water in the morning, but for me, that distinctive oily residue feels sticky when I wake up, so I don't feel refreshed unless I use a foam cleanser.

If there are any other dry-skinned Kim Mi-yeons out there like me, here is my personal morning skin  Please share your skincare routine! Do you not get breakouts even when washing with just water? Or do you have a very gentle cleanser specifically for the morning? Please let me know if you have any great tips for washing your face thoroughly while protecting your skin barrier.

To be honest, I'm worried because it feels like my makeup doesn't apply as well when I just wash with water and apply my skincare. It also feels like my foundation breaks down quickly, perhaps because there is still some oil left on my skin.
