Great Skin Care Tips for the Changing Seasons

Customized skincare tips for field workers to escape the skin of chemical plant shift workers

I was very worried about my skin, which was damaged by the dry air, oil fumes, and irregular shift work at the factory. After trying various things, I would like to share my own skincare routine.

1. Wash your face 'thoroughly,' not 'roughly.' If you wash until your skin squeaks trying to wipe away workplace dust, your skin barrier will be completely destroyed. I switched to a mildly acidic cleansing foam. Since I started washing my face with lukewarm water, focusing only on lightly removing chemical ingredients, the stinging sensation I experienced during the change of seasons has disappeared.

2. Layering a 'moisture coating' during work

The workplace is always dry. Before going to work, I apply an all-in-one product, and then apply a thin layer of multi-balm only to the particularly dry areas around my eyes and mouth. By creating this extra 'moisture barrier,' I can effectively prevent fine lines caused by skin tightness during work.

3. 'Cooling care' immediately after work

When I get home from work, my skin feels very hot. Instead of going to sleep right away, I apply chilled aloe vera gel or a face mask for just 10 minutes. Simply lowering my skin temperature is a surefire way to prevent breakouts and improve my complexion.

4. Internal hydration management (water instead of coffee)

The caffeine consumed while working strips your skin of moisture. I keep a tumbler handy and make it a rule to drink 2 liters of water. Just as with asset management, I view skincare as 'compound interest,' and the key is to practice it consistently.
