Please share your tips for managing acne scars!

I am asking those of you who manage acne scars with home care rather than dermatological procedures. I am curious to know what methods you typically use for home care. Since I still have plenty of time before my dermatologist appointment, I am posting this in the hopes that seeing some changes by then might help reduce the cost and duration of the procedure. I assume most of you reading this probably use acne scar creams, but has anyone tried any products other than cream for acne scars? I have searched extensively but haven't been able to find any products other than cream, so I am asking here. I would be very grateful if anyone with good information could share it.
