I can definitely feel a difference in my skin condition after getting a good rest during the holidays. Usually, I would use being busy as an excuse to lack sleep and build up stress, which would make my skin sensitive and cause frequent breakouts. But this time, I cleared my schedule and focused on resting as much as possible. I slept in, made sure to drink more water than usual, and avoided spicy foods, trying to put my body at ease first.
Perhaps as a result, every time I looked in the mirror, my skin tone looked much clearer and the overall texture felt more refined, which actually lifted my spirits. The most noticeable change was that my makeup applied smoothly without caking. I didn't get any special treatments or change any products, but I realized once again that the basics are indeed rest and maintaining good condition.
