Washing your face gently

One of the most fundamental habits important for skincare is to avoid over-washing. Many people believe that washing frequently is beneficial for maintaining clean skin, but excessive cleansing can actually have a negative impact on skin health. Generally, washing your face about twice a day is appropriate; the ideal routine involves gently removing sebum and impurities accumulated overnight in the morning, and thoroughly washing away makeup, dust, and excess sebum in the evening. Washing your face more often than necessary strips away essential oils and moisture, which can weaken the skin barrier. A damaged skin barrier not only makes the skin dry and sensitive but may also lead to increased sebum production to compensate for the lack of oil. In particular, caution is required against washing vigorously until the skin feels squeaky clean or using products with excessive cleansing power, as these can cause skin irritation. It is also important to apply a moisturizer immediately after washing to maintain hydration and prevent dryness. Additionally, using lukewarm water rather than hot water helps reduce skin irritation. Rather than washing your face unconditionally too often for clear skin, maintaining proper cleansing habits that preserve skin balance is more effective for healthy skin care.

    과유불급이라고 세안도 너무 빡빡 하면 피부에 자극이 되서 안좋다고 하더라구요 그래서 저자극 폼클렌저를 사용하고 썬크림만 바른 날은 굳이 이중세안을 하지 않으려고 해요:) 세안 후 바로 보습제 발라주는것도 중요하죠!
