I think your skin really follows your lifestyle habits.
I really tried to resist last night, but I ended up having a late-night snack. I usually try to avoid eating late at night, but strangely enough, I was so hungry yesterday. So, under the pretext of eating lightly, I had some spicy food and a carbonated drink, and I was so happy while I was eating it. But as expected, my skin doesn't lie.
I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, only to see pimples starting to pop up on my chin and around my nose. At first, I thought it was just redness, but when I touched the area while washing my face, I could immediately feel the bumps rising. My jawline is usually quite sensitive, so it shows immediately if my daily routine is even slightly disrupted, and it reacted exactly the same way this time. It was a moment where I regretted the happiness I felt last night.
I was actually quite satisfied because my skin condition has been good lately, but seeing it waver immediately after letting my guard down for just one day made me realize again how important consistent care is. I think my body was just exhausted because I was staying up late and even eating late-night snacks. Today, I plan to drink plenty of water and stick to a diet that is as gentle as possible. I'm focusing solely on soothing care because I'm afraid touching it with my hands might make it worse.
It really feels like your skin follows your lifestyle. It’s fascinating, yet also a bit scary, to see how immediately it reacts to just something you eat or your sleep patterns. I resolved to cut down on late-night snacks for a while, but I’m worried I’ll waver again when night falls.
