No more blackhead-pulling nose strips! The secret to a smooth nose using cleansing oil lol

How is everyone managing those dark blackheads and bumpy whiteheads stuck in their noses? Blackheads have been a huge source of stress for me since my school days, so I used to be a die-hard fan of those powerful peel-off nose strips where you wet your nose, stick the pack on, and rip it off. I felt a strange sense of satisfaction seeing the forest of sebum after peeling it off, so I made sure to do them at least once a week. However, after years of such aggressive care, I suddenly looked in the mirror and saw that my nose pores were wide open like an orange peel, and my skin had become red and sensitive. It wasn't until I experienced the vicious cycle of sebum filling up even more in the spots where the skin had been pulled out that I finally ditched the peel-off strips and settled on a gentle method of dissolving them with cleansing oil. The results have been amazing, so I wanted to share my secret!

The method is actually quite simple, but it does require a bit of care and time. First, when washing your face in the evening, pump a generous amount of a lightweight cleansing oil with sebum-dissolving properties onto your completely dry, bare face and apply it to your nose area. Then, using your index and middle fingers, apply as little pressure as possible and gently roll in a circular motion along the curves next to and on the bridge of your nose. The key point here is to absolutely not rub hard; instead, take your time massaging for about 3 to 5 minutes to allow the oil to intertwine with the sebum inside your pores and dissolve smoothly.

As you roll it around, you can feel the bumpy, hardened sebum granules popping out and rolling around on your fingertips—the satisfaction at that moment is seriously incredible! Once you feel you've massaged enough, wet your hands just a tiny bit with water and rub your face again. This triggers an 'emulsification process' where the transparent oil turns milky white. Since this emulsification is the key step in separating oil and sebum from the skin, you must go through it thoroughly for about a minute. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly several times with lukewarm water to ensure no residue remains, and finish with a light second cleanse using a foam cleanser—that's it!

If you consistently take care of your skin like this just twice a week, you will experience your blackheads visibly fading and your nose bridge becoming as smooth as a peeled egg without the irritation of peeling them off. It is even better to close the empty pores after the sebum has been removed by washing your face with cold water, or by soaking a cotton pad with a pore-tightening toner and placing it on your face! For those of you who wanted to stop using nose strips because of enlarged pores, try gently dissolving the sebum with the cleansing oil on your vanity right today! If you happen to have your own secret gem for getting rid of sebum, sharing is also welcome!
