I've been feeling this lately, but it's harder to keep your skin from breaking down than to actually improve it.
In the past, when I thought of skincare, I only thought about getting better no matter what.
I only expected my skin tone to brighten, pores to shrink, and skin texture to become smooth.
These days, I actually feel that it is harder to keep my skin condition from deteriorating.
My skin gets dull immediately if I don't get enough sleep, I get breakouts when I'm stressed, my makeup cakes when the weather is dry, and I get bothered by blemishes if I apply sunscreen carelessly.
I think your skin is really connected to your lifestyle patterns.
Still, there are a few things I'm trying to stick to these days.
Avoid washing your face too vigorously, apply sunscreen every day, do not overexfoliate, and do not use new products when your skin is sensitive.
It's nothing special, but I found it harder than I thought to stick to the basics.
I don't know the secret to dramatically improving your skin, but I think a routine to keep it from getting worse is necessary.
Do you all have a habit you make sure to follow to maintain your skin condition?
Lately, I am truly realizing that the basics are the hardest.
