Today's skin diary, written because my skin has become noticeably drier lately
I woke up this morning and was really shocked when I looked in the mirror. Maybe it's because the weather has gotten hotter lately, but it feels like my sebum production has increased a lot, yet deep down, my skin feels really dry. Even though I washed my face and layered my skincare twice as meticulously as usual, I'm upset because I can see my skin getting rough and dull right away by the afternoon.
I feel particularly self-conscious about the enlarged pores around my butterfly zone whenever I look in the mirror. I've been drinking plenty of water whenever I get the chance because I've heard I need to, but I'm starting to wonder if home care alone is enough to replenish the elasticity and moisture I've already lost. I am seriously considering making time next week to book an appointment at Maypure for a hydration treatment or a skin booster.
After all, getting professional care definitely makes a difference; the skin feels plump and firm from deep within. Since I happen to be participating in the Skin Regeneration Fairy Challenge in the community, I am posting this to get some tips on how others maintain their skin condition during this transitional season or early summer weather. Please share in the comments—even small details are welcome—whether you use toner pads or have switched your ampoules.
