I feel that taking care of my skin at night is much more important than in the morning.
For a while, I paid more attention to my morning routine, but lately, I’ve been realizing firsthand that evening care is much more important.
UV rays, dust, and sebum build up throughout the day, and I found that my skin looks different the next day if I properly cleanse it before going to bed. There was a definite difference the next morning between days I skimmed my cleanse and days I did it thoroughly, so now, no matter how tired I am, I never compromise on double cleansing in the evening.
After cleansing, I simply apply a gentle ampoule and finish with a cream. It’s not a particularly complicated routine, but since I’ve settled on this, my skin feels much more stable when I wake up in the morning. It feels like my skin got a proper rest and recovery overnight. I think this simple evening routine suits me best, rather than anything elaborate.
