Cost-effective daily home care to prevent neck wrinkles that make you look older
I am sharing my own small, everyday habits for effectively managing neck wrinkles at home without spending money, as they honestly reveal my true age just as much as my facial skin.
I remember being incredibly shocked one day when I happened to look in the mirror and discovered that while my face was fairly taut, there were two distinct deep horizontal lines on my neck.
Since that day, when doing my basic skincare routine in the morning and evening, I firmly consider the area from below my jawline to my neck and collarbone as an extension of my face, and I apply my cosmetics just as meticulously.
Especially when applying thick nourishing creams or moisturizers, I use the warmth of my palms to perform a lymphatic massage every night, gently sweeping upwards from the bottom of my neck toward my jaw.
I heard that bad sleeping posture habits have a tremendous negative impact on the formation of neck wrinkles, so I threw away the soft, high pillow I used to use without hesitation and boldly switched to a very low cervical pillow that does not bend the neck.
For the first few days, the low pillow felt so unfamiliar and uncomfortable that I had trouble sleeping, but once I fully adapted, the unsightly wrinkles on my neck definitely disappeared when I woke up in the morning.
I unconsciously lower my head when looking at a smartphone or tablet, so to correct this bad posture, I am consistently practicing holding my phone high at eye level and looking at it upright.
Since it is said that it is very difficult to completely erase deep neck wrinkles even with dermatological procedures, I think it is absolutely necessary to make a meticulous effort to apply sunscreen to the back of the neck before going out.
Even if there isn't a noticeable, dramatic change tomorrow morning, I am confident that if these small daily habits accumulate day by day, in a few years you will definitely be able to maintain a smoother and more elastic neckline than your peers.
