A record of skin that has become sensitive due to the strong sunlight these days
With the sunlight becoming much stronger lately, I am noticing subtle changes in my skin condition. I usually tend to go about my life without any major issues, but recently, even just returning home from an outing leaves a lingering heat sensation on my face, and my skin feels like it dries out easily. In particular, there have been more days where my cheeks and the area around my nose turn red and my skin texture looks rougher than usual even after being outside for just a short while in the afternoon. I suspect my skin has become more sensitive overall, possibly due to the effects of UV rays.
In the past, light skincare was sufficient, but lately I have been paying more attention to hydration and soothing care. Before going out, I apply sunscreen thoroughly, and when I return home, I try to cool down the heat on my skin first using soothing pads or hydrating masks. Even so, I feel my skin condition deteriorates quickly on days when I am exposed to the sun for a long time, so I am definitely feeling the effects of the changing seasons.
Lately, I have come to realize just how important skin barrier care is. I am reducing my use of irritating products and focusing on the mildest ones possible, while also making an effort to drink plenty of water and ensure I get enough sleep. Since the skin is a direct reflection of lifestyle habits and environmental factors, I feel the need to manage it with greater care. For the time being, I plan to focus on soothing and restoring my skin while avoiding strong sunlight as much as possible.
